Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I suspect this buyer who's requesting a return / refund. He purchased a VCR/DVD combo that was thoroughly tested and fully functioning when shipped.

I just had the same experience with this guy, bought an item from me and claimed it's damaged, not working. The problem I see here is that he knows how to trick the system, he knows Ebay will side with him 100% no matter what, that's the only reason he keeps doing the same thing over and over. I didn't even try something against him because I knew I was going to waste my time, so I refunded and move on, karma is a b.

Same here. He just opened a return a week ago saying it won’t accept tape. Hasn’t actually sent it back yet. I want to gather more evidence of past cases to use in my case. Would it be possible to share details of your transactions on this forum? In my case, it is order number 21-12098-60102 and my user name is cyclonejake.

This guy needs to be stopped. Bought perfectly working CD changer from ebay, returned destroyed unit. He is working the system. Takes parts he needs and sells on amazon. Make sure you report him. He even has complaints on BBB. He only buys on ebay so his feedback is 100%. You can't leave negative feedback on a buyer. Sells eleswhere.

Update. He sent it back with missing parts and full of packing peanuts. Could tell he opened it because clips on from and rear plates were broken, tape door stuck open. Reported to eBay. eBay refunded my money and his. They had me report him as a bad buyer. I suggest everyone do the same to get rid of this guy. He is also on Mercari as Blake Hamilton and pulling the same crap.

I just had this happen to me as well. I immediately called eBay and let them know I will not be refunding this buyer and let them know about this thread that clearly shows I’m not the only one having this issue with this buyer. I let them know that the VCR was working perfectly before it was sent and now is missing parts. They opened a case and immediately closed it in my favor. Thanks to everyone for sharing their issues. I just don’t understand how people like this get away with it for so long? You would think eBAY would want to shut it down fast when they’ve had 10+ cases all saying the same thing about this buyer.

cyclonejake here.... I also immediately contacted ebay through the chat after I received my return. There was a huge new dent on the back of the machine. Explained the situation, they opened a case, and had me sign a form because my item was over $100. They ruled in my favor, so I keep my money, but they are also refunding Blake/Preston. I also reported the buyer through ebay.
Keep it up everyone. He's been on a buying spree lately, probably for Christmas shopping. Keep disputing the returns, keep reporting the buyer.

He has a property company that looks like his A/V equipment company... shady. Check out 1218 Holman Ave, Covington KY on zillow. Just listed to rent for $2350/mo, after he did a blow n go renovation with questionable design choices. He paid $130K for the property. Would be a shame if people scheduled viewings and didn't show up.
