Details: | Buyer claims item not as described for a car part that has only 1 kind manufactured, unless a different **System type** was needed--we sent exactly as our listing indicated. The buyer sent a message to us on a Sunday when our offices were closed. Then opened a return request a little time later. As the return request was opened, we decided to communicate via the case, rather than via his initial message. We asked the buyer to send images so we could see the difference and indicated he did not even remove the item being replaced to check whether the items were the same. As we know these units well and what it takes to ensure the units are correct, we sent him images of the types of systems for the part. The buyer claimed he could not see the images, and as we could not confirm his type, we accepted the return so we could verify at the time of the item's receipt back, whether we provided a wrong item (per our listing). We received the unit back and confirmed the unit was correct. The buyer actually needed a different system type. As we have no eBay recourse for buyers of this nature who make false claims, we opted to issue full refund, no restocking fees. The buyer then issued us a negative feedback as retaliation for not believing his claim and verifying we provided the correct item. We had eBay remove his negative. Please block this buyer from your account, and report him if you happen to come across HER. Irresponsible, uses the eBay system to avoid responsibility and is vindictive when a seller stands their ground by using negative as a tool for "PAYBACK". Another waste of the human helix. |
