eBay like other online stores, sellers have to provide tracking numbers in ALL orders, with a tracking number sellers and shoppers are able to track their packages, seller is responsible for packages until gets to customer hands, customers in eBay are not able to choose a item with or without tracking number so that's misleading information, is simple, follow rules and provide tracking information dont be cheap, pay for tracking number and you can yourself time and customers time. by the way I checked this customers eBay record and has 100% positive record

Part 1.
Mr./Ms Unanimous.
your response shows how incompetent with eBay and how prejudice against the sellers you are.
Here is where you are wrong:
You: "eBay like other online stores, sellers have to provide tracking numbers in ALL orders"
Truth: Wrong! NONE of eBay policies require sellers to provide tracking number!
You: "seller is responsible for packages until [???] gets to customer hands"
Truth: on eBay, seller is only responsible for shipping part until tracking number shows "Delivered"
You: "customers in eBay are not able to choose a item with or without tracking number..."
Truth: Ours and most other eBay listings have shipping options available on check-out. Seller cannot be responsible for buyers incompetence and assumptions.

Part 2
You: "dont be cheap, pay for tracking number"
Truth: First. This buyer purchased our items because they were the least expensive on the U.S. eBay. So who is cheap?
Second: This buyer purchased the item with non-trackable shipping included for free . If we would send it with the cheapest trackable shipping, here is an interesting math you need to consider: item price $4.89, minus cheapest trackable shipping to FL: $3.09, minus ebay and PayPal fees: $0.93, minus our cost $X.XX, comes to a negative number. Sellers are not here for charity!!! Our country's economy is capitalism and is built on profit, but there are some other countries out there that are not. You have a choice :-)

incompetent? by your answers I can tell the type of seller are you, and yes, eBay encourage sellers to provide tracking numbers, so costumers & seller are able to track packages & prevent this problem but if package doesn't have a tracking number how do you know it was delivered? according to you seller is responsible until tracking number shows "delivered" but without tracking number how do you proof it? in shipping options DOESNT exist the option to "ship without tracking number" so that is not true, just add the shipping cost to the items since you are not on eBay for charity simple. so don't be the incompetent and learn to do business, fortunately eBay protect costumers again sellers like you. You have a choice :-D

All items that are purchased online have to have tracking. Tracking is the only proof that the buyer received the item. PayPal and credit cards companies clearly tell you in the agreement you legally signed, that you the seller are legally required to accept any and all responsibility over the transaction. If a buyer makes a claim such as non receipt or not authorized, then its you the seller that have to prove the item was shipped to either the PayPal confirmed address or the verified credit card address.

If the seller does not ship to these addresses, then the seller will loose immediately or in the event there is no tracking. No other documentation will be supported accept tracking. If the seller is too stupid or cheap to place tracking and this type of dispute opens the seller will loose. There are asshole buyers out there that will see the seller places no tracking and then will file a dispute. The buyer will get the item for free because the seller cant prove the buyer got the item.

The seller is too cheap or stupid to place tracking on a package, then they are the ones that are liable, and no one should be paying for a sellers moron decision of not protecting the transaction.

So many buyers and sellers available in the market with so many mixed views. Not sure whom we can trust. Thankfully we have so many forums where we can do our informative research and seek details.
