Buyer purchased high value Cartier glasses, asked to expedite shipping and also to ship to a non verified address. We gladly expedite but will not ship to unverified addresses (this would void our Seller Protection). Buyer accused us of not shipping to the address on file (we checked several times, we did). Buyer then changed their eBay username from h-m2462 to kendra_2016. We carefully packed the item, insured the package and required signature upon delivery. We also had UPS sign a high value report for this package, acknowledging they were receiving a high value item.
The buyer claimed to receive an empty box. They sent a simple message "hey u didn't send the glasses" on eBay, but proceeded to open a claim on Paypal. I used the retrieve contact information feature on eBay to call. First I spoke to a young man who claimed to have "heard about it" but knew nothing about it and that Kendra was not available. He claimed "we didn't do nothin' wrong". I later spoke to Kendra, who again reiterated they "didn't do nothing wrong". Their behavior was absolutely nothing like someone who received and empty box after ordering a $1300 item.
It should be noted the recipient's name is different from the person filing this claim (recipient was Jim Brown, signed by Brown. Claim was from Kendra Graham).
