Details: | Coffee pods, value £104.95 including shipping. I was suspicious of address and he did not respond to a message requesting clarification on eBay. I then tried emailing him, despite his email address being "verified" on PayPal (along with the dodgy address) it bounced back. So I then sent him a message on Whatsapp but he said he had ordered nothing on eBay but was very casual about an account with his number associated with it being used to make purchases on eBay.! He suggested I text a different number concerning address clarification! I did not send any goods of course but he quickly raised a charge-back, PayPal sided with buyer as I could not provide tracking so I was charged their £14 charge back fee and eBay and PayPal fees were not refunded. Oh how these companies love to profit from criminality! Another order appeared and was followed with another chargeback which I shall detail in the next report, altogether I have lost nearly £75 in non-refundable fees with these two transactions. His other purchase was for more money using different eBay profile but nearly same name, address, number etc. |
