Buyer bought a pickup only item although he lives in NY and I'm in CA. He asked if I'd take it to UPS and he would handle it from there. He was so abusive to the UPS employee who called to set up the shipment that they wouldn't contact him again, but asked me to help, even though my part in the transaction was over. Thus began weeks of abusive, irrational messages from the buyer through eBay, accusing me of many imaginary wrongs including stealing the item back from UPS and threatening me with his lawyer, the AG, the police. His messages are so irrational it's impossible to figure out what he's upset about. I've been selling for nearly 20 years and have never dealt with an individual this disturbed. I hope he gets some help.
