You are part of a psychological victim fantasy, and you play into it every time you are indiscreet (albeit honestly) in your replies to the instigator. You see, the goading posts are not looked at in those reports...Only the ones where you are losing your temper are reported. Somebody has a rich, passive-aggressive nature, and you are feeding that nature by being righteously outraged. In being mad, you give that person power over you.

Once you know the psychological profile, it becomes much, much easier to pass over some posts, while still paying attention to people who truly need and want help. We cannot help if someone is playing games. We can only help our reaction (or lack thereof).
