Norman Shipley demanded a refund as soon as we notified him that we shipped his order. The reason that he demanded a refund is that we mistakenly thought we over-charged him, but we did not. When we informed him that we did not over-charge him after all with a followup email, he got irritated and demanded a full refund, even though the product was already shipped.
Because a chargeback would cost us even more (and possibly our business, in this early stage), we felt intimidated to refund him, which we did.
