Sold a pair of Oakley glasses to the buyer for well below retail. They retail for about $130, I sold them for $59.99. THEY WERE BRAND NEW IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING, NO DAMAGE. The reason I sold them cheaply was because I needed quick cash... the buyer received the item, then filed an item not described case with ebay... needless to say I won the case. The buyer then proceeded to threaten me weekly to refund different amounts of money or he'd cause some form of harm or another

You can't block a buyer from contacting you through ebay messages. You can get a life.

Sorry to hear about your experience. You actually can block buyers from contacting you through eBay. I believe you go to the account tab, then site preferences. I've got it set up so that when I block a person from bidding (and I've got a couple dozen on that growing list), eBay also blocks their messages. The buyer can perhaps contact you regarding an item they're purchasing, but only for a limited time. When a person sends threats through ebay messages, you should call eBay and their technician will read the messages. When corresponding, I've found from experience it works best to be calm and professional and let the crazy guy make himself look bad. That way you come out looking like a saint if there is some sort of dispute. Also, if you haven't already, you can set requirements for your buyers so that people with non-paids and other violations are automatically blocked from bidding. It has cut way down on the crazy people for us. Good luck! ***By the way, that "commenter" is probably your bad buyer lol!

Look at all the haters commenting that I was in the wrong, typical lowlifes who side with the person making threats. Last I checked this was a bad buyer site to allow sellers to have some sort of voice... not a place to be bashed for reporting poor consumers. The same people that bash are the same consumers being reported. Customers aren't always right, they just think they are
