Details: | Customer bought a hot tub for $456.97, started a return a couple days after receiving the item from seller with reason as defective/doesn't work. Customer comments were "item was very faded and appeared used". Seller offered $30 to customer to compensate for any paint defects/fading but customer refused and upon receipt of the return seller discovered the customer had returned a very used and dirty version of the new hot tub that was purchased. Seller was forced to refund 50% of MSRP to customer. Seller lost approximately $250 due this fraudulent transaction. |

Seller update: Buyer has now initiated a chargeback through their credit card for the total amount of the purchase even though they have already been refunded $256. Seller has had to submit documents to AMZ to defend the chargeback.
