Details: | Sold a Sony Alpha 1 camera for $6500. They returned the box back with a cheap $100 Canon camera inside. I knew something was off because I shipped a 4lb box and they returned a 2.5lb one. Beware they are a scammer. |

PayPal Terminator says : Well first off why in the fuck would you ship a $6500 camera to some unknown person, especially using Amazon or PayPal. You knew about the scams on both sites, and as a seller its your responsibility to know what could go on before even selling your first item. You should of never have shipped an expensive item like that unless you were paid in cash! Now you learned your less big time!

Great advice…I should just fly out to every customer and get to know them before selling to them. The only thing you are terminating with your ideas is profit. The package was insured and I was covered by Amazon, just reporting the scammer.
FYI cash deals can go sideways just as easy.
The correct path is to insure with signature confirmation. Also, photo serial number or box with shipping label before packaging. That has covered me when dealing with fraudulent returns.
