Details: | Buyer claimed a chargeback via their credit card issuer OVER FIVE MONTHS after the item was shipped! They stated that they never received the package. Unfortunately I never received the PayPal e-mails about the case and they closed it without my input even though they already had the tracking info. A second whammy was that USPS didn't have info on the shipment anymore. They lose track after three months. eBay was suspicious of the buyer and sent an e-mail to me after the item was shipped and payment was made. They closed the buyer's account and said to cancel the transaction if possible. I watched for issues for a bit, but after two months, I thought surely it was not an issue. Paypal had not changed their policy to 180 days to disupute yet. Long story short, the buyer lied and received the iphone and got money back as well. I am without either the money or the iPhone. |
