Details: | This buyer purchased a New Dell U2711 monitor on November 17, 2013. The item was delivered on November 26, 2013 via UPS Tracking number: 1Z45f2f70393065293. On the same day this buyer sent an email saying that the box had been opened and he wanted to return it. We told him that all of our items ship from our warehouse and the box is never opened for any reason. We did offer a full refund if the buyer wanted to return the item. The buyer insisted that we needed to provide a return shipping label to him. We pointed out that as per the eBay return policy the return shipping must be paid for by the buyer. The buyer continued to insist and threaten that a return shipping label must be provided. On Nov 28 the buyer opened a case via eBay resolution center. We agreed to issue a full refund in case the buyer returned the item. On December 1 the buyer uploaded the same tracking number which was associated with the original shipment to indicate that he had returned the item back to us and that the item had been returned. This fooled the eBay system into believing that that item in fact had been returned. I'm currently working with eBay customer support so that an automatic refund is not issued to this buyer. Hope all will be ok. |
