Since they are a business report them to the attorney general's office for selling stolen merchandise. Also report them to their hosting company with a signed letter from an attorney they will get shut down. Provided you can prove your claims.

I was concerned when I received 2 purchases going to the same place, different eBay accounts, and both accounts have their ratings private and saw this website when I did some research. I still went ahead with the transaction to this buyer and the other buyer and the transactions turned out fine. Seems like it's going to a data recovery company.

Thanks for the reports. I was about to get the same issue with this buyer that had the same type of issue - all private feedback, same shipping address to a Steve Miller that didn't have any public records verifying them, and ordered a hard drive. Thanks to you all I was able to avoid a scammer.

Ebay accounts being used for this scam are: lant_rob & verified_guru, shipping to Rob Lanter and Richard Brown. Both have hidden feedbacks. They will buy a few weeks apart and then request refunds. You'll receive empty boxes or garbage products in return and be forced by ebay and/or paypal to refund the money. The same return scam run by so many people on ebay nowadays. The buyer receives the item but claims you sent an empty box – in other words, accuses you of fraud.
