Details: | This individual bought an old bath from me for scrap on 16th October 2011. I had to open an Ebay dispute to get my payment (a whole 99p !) from him a week later as I had received absolutely nothing by then.
Despite contacting this person many times through Ebay after having eventually received payment, I was continually fobbed off,and the bath still remained uncollected taking up valuable space at my premises some two months later despite my Ebay advert having stated that the winning bidder should collect it within 5 days. In the end I advised Mr.Redman through Ebay just before Xmas 2011 that I was cancelling this transaction, and I refunded his 99p back to him through Paypal and I disposed of the bath by other means. Because he is a buyer and I was a seller I was unable to leave negative feedback on the Ebay site which I consider to be grossly unfair, and should you check his feedback on Ebay you will observe that many other sellers had left 'positive' feedback for this man solely in order to be able to leave adverse criticism about this buyer, all of which I don't doubt is perfectly true(and I don't blame these sellers at all for doing this,) although this does give rather inaccurate positive feedback totals for bad buyers like this - and I feel that the Ebay policy of no negative feedbacks for buyers is badly flawed, and I'm seriously considering not selling any more items in future on Ebay for just that reason. |

I've been reading a bunch of these and this one really does stand out.
But what they do now is open buyer-only accounts and then hide their feedback comments, so you can't even get them by leaving hostile positives anymore. Then they sell whatever they do buy, somewhere else. Terrible policy on ebay's part to enable scam buyers thusly.
