Buyer filed a return request because the motherboard did not fit his case. It was returned physically broken and with an totally different CPU. I sent buyer photos of the damage. Buyer admitted in message to installing a different CPU, but became extremely rude and abusive. Two hours after I received the return in the mail (eBay hadn't even updated the tracking yet), buyer escalates the case to eBay demanding a full refund, changing his mind and saying the item was SNAD. Even though I still had a full 2 business days to refund the buyer (I was planning on a generous 70% refund, even though 2 of the 3 components were now unusable), eBay sided with this buyer and issued a full refund. On appeal, the refund was reversed.
