Details: | Buyer returned completely different pair of shoes from what I sold him. He bought Vans Asher Boys Shoes size 12 M in Natural/Black Checkerboard color. He wants to return because they "don't fit". A week later, I get a pair of blue girls vans shoes size 13. He switched out a completely different pair of shoes. He won't respond to my messages. I took lots of pictures of the returned shoes he sent me and uploaded them in the return resolution. I called eBay. Had to escalate to a manager because the eBay reps said I'll have to take the scam as a "business loss" because there is no real proof of who is right or wrong, despite my numerous pics of the item he sent as a "return". After being on hold with eBay for over 15 minutes and repeating my story over and over with 2 different reps, the supervisor finally agrees to compensate me for the loss but the buyer still gets a refund AND the original pair of shoes I sent him. So eBay pays me out of pocket to basically "shut up" but the buyer still "wins" the case despite scamming me. |
