This buyer is rude, aggressive, and somehow racist.
The item is a US quarter, and the price is $1.29 Canadian dollar. I shipped the item next day.
Two weeks later, the buyer sent a message: "14 days have past and I still haven't received my Item. Where is it coming from, china?"
I replied: "Hi JSMJR, Sorry for the delay. Your coin was shipped on July 18th from Canada. Please see the attached picture. Normally it takes 2 weeks to arrive in US, but sometimes it could be longer. I have seen the longest time to deliver was more than 1 month. I appreciate your patience. Thanks, xxx", with a picture of the envelope showing the addresses.
The response to my message is a negative feedback: "Sellers' ad didn't say delivery could take over a month." Also, he opened an eBay case asking for refund.
Feeling nothing I can say, and hoping the item could arrive soon, I didn't refund right away.
4 days later, the buyer sent a message, seems addressing to eBay: "THE SELLER HAS NOT RESPONDED AS REQUESTED TO DO SO. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY PURCHASE OR MY REFUND. SO WHY EBAY, ARE YOU PROTECTING THIS DEADBEAT SELLER AND PISSING ME OFF IN THE INTERIM? I COULD USE SOME HELP HERE. GET MY REFUND FOR ME. THANKS JACK"
Fine then, I just refund the buyer. Everyone could read the above communication and decide if he/she should avoid this buyer.
