Paragon, or Paragon Online Services is a BOOK RESELLER. They will purchase an expensive book from you. to resell on Amazon, in the US or internationally. They have the books sent to various people at the Jacksonville address, including Angela Clenenden, Nicoloas Clenenden, Angela Jacquier, Matthieu Jacquier... The Jacksonville address is nothing more than a tiny office for rent, or a motel even maybe.

If their buyer doesn't want it, they will return it to you, and say whatever, like "item not described", "wrong item", so they don't have to pay for the return. We do cancel all the orders we receive from them because this happened once to us, and no seller wants to spend their time trying to not lose money...

They also operate on Discogs. Will buy something from you, never pay for tracking, and claim item never arrived to get a refund (and then of course sell the item). Too easy to cover behind buyer protection.

We have sold 30 items to Paragon on Amazon. Two were claimed to be lost and had to be refunded. They will not respond to emails or phone calls. You're taking your chances by selling to them.

These crooks ordered twice on Amazon and thanks to this site did not fall in this trap

They've bought two books from me on Amazon. I often look up my buyers before shipping and I'm glad I did. I found this site and followed the tip to ship with signature required. It cost extra but it was worth it. First order was fine but on the more recent one they requested a refund claiming it never arrived. I was able to cite the date, time and person at their address who signed for it. I didn't hear from them again. By the way, it was signed for by G. Quinn.

Thank you - they just tried to buy a 7" from me on amazon - not taking chances

They will order from you and claim the item wasn't received. You respond saying it shows delivered, I will help you file a police report.... poof, never hear from them again.

Just got ripped off from them as a buyer! Now one of their names is Dennis Prestivo as “Prestivo” store/seller on Amazon. Alexis Berthuy was another name to that Suite 8 address on a crossed out package label.

As of February, 2023 they are still ordering books and claiming the book was not received. Luckily I Googled their address and came upon this website. I shipped the book insured and signature required and so Amazon did not honor their claim as there was proof of delivery.

They ordered from us 4 times and all were cancelled, crooks

Posted over 1 year ago by 70.26.X.X Report as SPAM

They were reported to Amazon but they don't do anything because they make money on fees and don't care about sellers, they just keep supporting scammers, the only way to get rid of this buyer is by reporting them to the police to take action!

Weird. We sell on Amazon and Paragon have ordered over 20 times and we've never had an issue with them. They buy CD's from us.

Posted over 1 year ago by 104.152.X.X Report as SPAM

I just receuved a book from them after a couple months wait time. I can’t recall if I bought from them durectly or from Amazon (which has no record). There’s not even a receipt from them enclosed! The problem is the book was to have come with a CD, integral to the use of the book, but no CD and now I’m screwed. My fault for not keeping a better record of this nor in looking the company up before ordering from them!

Dear All,

We, Paragon OS Inc, are a reseller exporting products aboad. We noticed that harsh language was used above and it is possibly that a few negative experiences (whether we are responsible or not) led to them.

We have quality control measures to verify that all products meet our standards. In that regard, when we supply items, we might request returns/replacements when we receive items below the described condition.

The difference of point of view regarding the product condition might be a reason for these misunderstandings. It is true that we might set (too?) high standards. Regarding the other subjects mentioned above, we musn't rule out the possibility that a third party is responsible for these issues.

We too certainly have responsibility. There is room to improve our processes as well as our communication.

We will be happy to work with all of you to avoid similar issues in the future.

Sincerely,
Paragon OS Inc

I am thankful for this page. I happened upon it after finding the sender's name odd and I decided to look into it more . Not worth the risk. Latest variation to their username is paragoosin-0.

I had a recent purchase from them as well, found the buyer's name odd, and did a search on it and found this website. Glad I did. Not worth the hassle of dealing with them. Their explanation on this page did not assure me either. Thanks for this information. Much appreciated. Too many scammers out there these days.

You just bought an item from me which will ship. I used to live in Jacksonville. I've notified someone I know with the AG's office at 1300 Riverplace Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. They will work with Amazon. If clean you'll be fine but if there is a pattern here they can & will arrest who is involved.

They just bought a book from me in acceptable condition with all problems disclosed, and are now asking for a refund because of "damage" which Amazon automatically authorized (of course) so I have to pay return shipping. Guess they got it and figured they couldn't resell it, so are shipping it back on my dime. Extremely slimy business practice and they should not be allowed to take advantage of the Amazon return policy this way -- no buyer should be able to return so many products, the system should catch it.

Glad I found this site. Paragon just ordered an expensive book from me on Amazon. I will cancel their order due to their bad reputation. Thanks all.

Thank you for the warning. I would like to trust but I really do not want to bother with the hassle with my expensive book!

I wish I had seen this website earlier. I recently shipped an order to Paragon & received an email from them today saying that the order never arrived & they would like a refund. When I checked the tracking info, it said the initial delivery attempt was unsuccessful, as the delivery location could not be accessed. It is strange, however, that it appears no subsequent delivery attempts were made & it appears the package remains undelivered, despite saying that redelivery would be attempted & nothing further was required. I do plan to contact USPS first thing tomorrow to locate & recover the package. I also plan to contact Amazon immediate to explain the situation, as well as to bring this website to their attention, so as to hopefully prevent them from being able to do this again in the future, if my situation is indeed an attempt to take my item for free & get a refund in the process.

As of November 24, 2023, Paragon OS is still scamming, so it's important to report each fraud to the Better Business Bureau, the US Postal Service, and the State of Florida Attorney General's office, on their consumer fraud hotline at 1-866-966-7226. The corporation name is Paragon OS, Inc, and their Florida company number, or filed number, is: P15000091373. They may now be operating out of an office at Regus (open office space) at 4720 Salisbury Rd, Ste 104, Jacksonville, FL 32256. The Paragon scammers may be from France or other country, so you may be dealing with an international issue. We cancel all orders we get from them, as they've burned us in the past.

This is the address they most recently used:
Paragon OS Inc
GIFT DO NOT INCLUDE PRICE
6950 PHILIPS HWY STE 19 A
JACKSONVILLE, FL 32216-4048

I shipped to them with signature confirmation, so we will see what comes of this.

Every time they make an order they change their location, so never ship to these crooks

They ordered from us over 40 times, mostly legit. Only 1 return that I am aware of because Paragon alleged to amazon a "late arrival" and amazon forces us to pay shipping both ways though it arrived on time. This is like a rental service which is not our business but worse because we have to pay the renters and shipping instead of the other way around. We we will continue to monitor situation. Paragon, do NOT take advantage of amazon's customer-friendly return policies. If your buyer cancels then you must eat the shipping cost yourself and not pass it on to your distributors who you should be treating as partners. If this continues we will have no choice but to report you to amazon and cancel all future purchases. Honest customers mark returns as "Changed my mind", not "arrived late". Sincerely, frequent seller to your arbitrage business.

I looked up their address/business name before shipping an LP as I always do, you know, mostly for fun. The first link is this BAD Buyer List. The address they gave me does not show them as being there. The address listed here on this page does not show them as existing there. I cancelled the order rather than getting boned out of $85. Seller beware.

They just purchased a Disney book from my EBay listing. I am very new to selling, but when I saw the name, something told me to look them up. I'm glad I did. Thank you for posting your comments. I really appreciate it. I will be canceling their sake.

The book was delived by USPS to their address but the USPS Trackun # shows that the business was closed and USPS is holding the book. Meanwile Paragon is pressuring me on Amazon to send them a refund for the book purchase, while I am trying to get the book returned to me by the USPS.
