Details: | The buyer (a new eBay user account) purchased a very low priced Mighty Mule MM371W gate opener kit. After a few weeks, the buyer claimed that one of the programming buttons on the control box was stuck in not allowing the unit to be programmed to the remote. I suspected fowl play so I asked them to return the item. I always take pictures of the serial numbers on the parts except the inside control board. I suspected she probably saw that in the pics. and swapped the valuable board itself. When I received it back, not only was the box missing 3 of the outer 4 screws, but she must have lost one of the internal board screws which made the swap obvious. She also kept the remote control for herself. The unit was returned without any of the original packaging protection and items left outside of their perspective plastic protection (the parts that still had some). She was lucky as I was nice and only withheld half of the purchase knowing I could still sell some of the parts left to recoup the other half. STAY FAR AWAY FROM dancing-131. |
