Details: | Purchased a $150 diecast car, claimed a piece was broken off and asked for a return. He did not wish to ship the item back, but still wanted a refund. I let him know he would need to ship back the item in order to receive a refund (I have free returns for 30 days available, no cost to buyer). On day 30 when the return HAD to be shipped back per eBay policy, he left negative feedback and opened a further claim on eBay. Luckily eBay saw through his attempt to steal a $150 item, and denied the claim and removed the feedback. But no business is going to let you keep a $100+ item without returning it even if it's broken, unsure why he would think an individual should be held to a higher standard. Screams scammer, waste of time - cancel any order you may receive from him to save a month of hassle. |
