Next time put the city state and zip code. Obviously you knew you were shipping a $2000 product to someone you dont even know a hole in the wall. 2nd you should never give buyers the tracking information. Contact the buyer's local police department and file fraud charges. Since the purchase was over $500 its a federal offense. Start by a certified letter clearly stating federal action would be taken if you dont get reiumbursed for damages. Send the asshole to collections as well.

Yeah, I already have a bad experience with buying a rug from a scammer. So, since then I'm buying such things only in proven shops. https://www.dorisleslieblau.com/ is one of them. You will not be scammed there. By the way, if you still want to change something in your interior, you can just buy a new rug.
