Not a buyer, but a scam seller on craigslist selling cars, trucks and trailers. "She" says she is a flight attendant and is busy, and that ebay will handle the transaction. Again she is selling on CL and sends a fake invoice making it appear that it came from eBay. The ebay "phone number" is some indian guy answering the phone.

Hi everyone, I too am so thankful I started to look into this, I knew it seemed to good to be true. I was looking at a camper on "Offerup" and pretty much got the same story, flight attendant, divorce, needs to get rid of it asap for cheap... my scammer is going by the name of Jessica Robertson who is living with her parents in MT after the divorce, too busy to handle the sale so eBay is going to do so. :( Thankfully I looked into this before she got a dime because I have been in the eBay community for a long time and I have never heard of paying for something like this with eBay cards.

Just got a call from this same phone number stating that he was from the social security office. There were a number of debt aginst my naame and wanted me or my attorney to call him back. This is a scam and do not respond. Social Security would notify via a certified letter not by phone.

I also got a call from this phone number at about 10am on Friday November 30 2018. They did not address themselves nor myself and tried to collect more information from me, but I refused to. They claimed it was urgent to respond immediately. When I called back to ask what it was regarding the guy kept asking for my name - when I didn't give him my name, he hung up on me. I've been trying to call back, but no answering machine and now they won't even pick up hahahahaha. Keep calling this number to spam them!!!! They are trying to steal people's information!

She is trying to sell me an ATV with the same story. Said that the ATV was her husbands, who died two months ago and now it only brings bad memories. Said she is a pilot, not around much. Said that Ebay has the vehicle and wants all of my info to register with them. Sounded like a BS email. Glad I googled!

I am glad I researched this Helen Larrick as she is a piece of work, she was in the business of wanting to sell a 2002 Fleetwood jamboree gt28r and the going price of, you guessed it $3,000 through eBay pay by eBay cards. Same old same old story divorced got in the settlement needs to get rid of it period and it was being shipped from Omaha Nebraska. This group of people should be sent to the fraud department of the United States. They need somebody to give them a good legal poke. Thanks all of you for posting your buyer beware scams.

She just tried to Scam my husband for a Polaris ATV. Wanted $1000. Too good to be true. Said he'd have to purchase through EBay. Sounded too good to be true. Then we started seeing warnings on posts. Mark from North Carolina.
