This bad buyer, is the reason that I just deleted my eBay account. She purchased a poncho from me on September 30th. I mailed it promptly the next day. I have no control over other countries' customs, yet she's blaming me for it being held up in a transport hub. I also don't ship internationally, and specifically state that in every auction. She ignored my policy, however, and bid anyway at the last minute. I didn't know she lived in Germany, until the auction ended. I wanted to cancel her bid, but decided to honor it. I even marked it as a gift, to give her a break. Most sellers won't do that. I went against my better judgment, and now know, why many Americans won't sell internationally. She e-mailed me and was upset, that it hadn't arrived in only three weeks. When it can take up to six+ weeks, for an international item to be received. She also opened up a case against me yesterday. Now, PayPal is holding my money "hostage," until they make their decision. They'll probably side with her, and I'll have the loss of both goods and funds. When the poncho eventually arrives, I doubt that she'll have the integrity to repay me. Why would she? She'll get what she wanted, and her money back too. And I'll be on the losers' list, for not being backed by an American company. If she wins the case, I'll also cancel my PayPal account. I won't give any more of my money, to a corrupt corporation. Her feedback settings are private, too. I wonder why? I find that somewhat suspicious. Maybe she's done this before, and is attempting to hide her history. I'd adamantly advise, against selling to her.

As I predicted, PayPal decided in her favor yesterday and I lost the case. When I double-checked her window of delivery date, the item has until October 31st to arrive. I don't know how PayPal's perimeters can allow someone to open up a case, when their delivery date isn't even close. Enjoy your cashmere poncho and refund, Fanny. While I wound up with nothing: no goods and money. Just remember: "karma's a bitch."
