Whatever the refund policy is is the legal contract. You need to call PayPal and say these were my policies and thats it. SInce you are owned by Ebay and clearly state that all sales are a legal and blinding contract then PayPal must legally follow and decide whatever your policies state for returns. If they dont, you can sue them for fraud aiding and abeding. They gave the buyer the money back for the sole purpose that she paid by credit card and to avoid the buyer filing a chargeback against them, they gave the buyer the money and and left you high and dry. Thats your means or grounds for suing PayPal. They were not looking after you interests but their own, you paid paypal and placed terms and conditions that were stated. Just because she didnt want it, unless you specify "defective exchange only" or make it clear that you dont take pitty returns, then thats the only way you can win.
