Details: | I was selling an item on eBay and the when the item sold, immediately I get a message from a user ge2015_na telling me he is glad he won the item and he really needs to have the item shipped to his proper address because his PayPal address is incorrect. So I don’t think much about it since I’ve been selling for 20 years on eBay and never had any issues and thought honest mistake on his part. A week later when the item arrives by this point I’ve come to realize this individual in fact is not the real buyer and that I was just scammed out of a $800 dollar drone. Tried to contact eBay multiple times to let them know about the scam, so I could maybe file a fraud claim. Only to have them not care and to not do or acknowledge anything, they are the worst and have truly been the icing on the cake on top of having to come to terms with what happened. The buyer that purchased the item also struck me very odd with similar broken speech and highly aggressive and confrontational before I even realized the gravity of the situation of what occurred to me. Too the point he was on the attack from email number one, never in the years I’ve been selling have I come across that aggressive accusatory behavior, accusing me of scamming him while all the while I was completely being scammed and stolen from and left with nothing but a stolen item and fees from eBay and PayPal even after I tried to contact them to file fraud claims. |

Exact same thing happened to me , except for the fact that I called eBay and they said to to me that it was ok to ship at different address . Of course it was a fraud I lost a $1800 worth camera lenses and now eBay wants another $270 from me .
