This bad buyer purchased a camera lens on ebay. First he asked for the customs forms to be completed using a fraudulent low purchase price to evade taxation/duty upon receipt.

Then a day or two after delivery, he claimed it was fogged and scratched to the point of being unusable. He sent a picture to support his claim of a fogged lens, with the serial number obscured. In retrospect, these pictures were of a different lens.

We were immediately suspicious, as there was no reason to obscure the serial number.

We invited him to return it, so we could examine it ourselves, and if his claims were true, we would issue a full refund.

He returned a lens - apparently the same lens he purchased. Contrary to his claim, it was not fogged, and not scratched.

Instead it had been damaged to the point of being unusable. The rear threads were damaged, and the rear lens pin was bent and there was internal damage to the inner lens workings.

The buyer had apparently tried to attach lens to a camera it was not suited for, or something similar. The result being major physical damage to the lens.

After apparently causing this damage, he then tried to fraudulently obtain a refund from us, by claiming the lens arrived fogged up.
