Buyer claimed disc was heavily scratched even though pictures of the disc were included and displayed mint, like new bottom side of disc. Discovered that a few months prior, buyer completed an auction for the same video game, but auction described it as heavily scratched. The buyer requested a refund shortly after receiving positive feedback from myself (my bad since I should have waited for them to post first). eBay's decision was to refund buyer, but not claw back the funds from my end. eBay also agreed to remove negative on my profile from the buyer. Clearly a scam by the buyer. I would not advertise a video game as 'like new' if it was heavily scratched, especially since I was selling the game with disc and manual only, no authentic case or cover art, just a generic case. Buyers claims made no sense.
