The buyer bid on a pair of beautiful new leather boots worth over £70 and won them for just 99p - a complete bargain.

I posted them promptly and shortly afterwards got a message asking me to refund part of the cost for postage and packing because it didn't match what was on the printed stamp.

I declined and they left me negative feedback shortly afterwards, saying that I had overcharged on postage and was 'unhelpful'. But the postage and packing charges were as stated on the listing which they had bid on and accepted - a binding legal contract (and as any ebayer knows, the cost of the actual postage is not all that's involved in posting an item).

It's beyond belief that they'd ruin a perfect feedback record when they have a complete bargain in their hands - just 99p for a pair of beautiful brand new leather boots, delivered to their door within a day - and when I fulfilled my part of the deal.
